Next-Generation "Experiential" LED Production from Noboribetsu, Hokkaido

WonderBox360 is an experiential space composed of a 5-sided LED vision system with a width of 4,000mm, a depth of 7,000mm, and a height of 3,000mm. By surrounding visitors with LEDs from wall to floor and combining them with real-time generated video content, the aim was to create an experience where visitors feel as if they are entering a story.

This is a new form of entertainment originating from Hokkaido, utilizing LEDs not merely as display devices but as "expressive media that redefines the value of space."

The Charm of the Content: An "Adventure" Where Reality and Fantasy Intersect

The setting for "WonderBox360" is a fictional uninhabited island surrounded by rich nature.

Visitors proceed deeper into the island along the gentle flow of a river. When they dive underwater, a fantastical underwater world, connected to real nature, unfolds before their eyes. There, Nixe Castle, towering in a world of fantasy, makes its appearance.

The realistic textures of nature and the imaginative expressions unique to digital technology.

By connecting these two within a single space, WonderBox360 became content that can be experienced not as "something to watch," but as an "adventure to progress through."

About the Content Production Team

Following "Fumu Asobu Digital Park #Hitofumi" at Frespo Wakabadai, FRACTO and Taki Corporation once again teamed up to bring together LED space and narrative expression into a single experience.

About Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe

It is Hokkaido's largest aquarium, themed around Nordic romance and ocean fantasy. Nixe Castle, modeled after the real Egeskov Castle in Denmark, houses the aquarium, where 20,000 marine creatures of 400 species live. The dolphin and sea lion performances, the sardine performance are spectacular, and the penguin parade is very popular.
