Launch of 'Closed AI BOX': A Physical AI Server That Does Not Transmit Data Externally

It supports both on-premises installation at the customer's site and installation in a closed section within our data center. In addition, as the first utilization solution, we have added a full call recording, AI transcription, and summarization option to our 0ABJ-compatible communication service "VOICE-LINE." ■ Background With the rapid evolution of large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, the automation of intellectual tasks like document processing, information retrieval, and voice analysis has reached the practical stage. On the other hand, due to concerns about sending business data to cloud AI, there are many cases where highly sensitive industries such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and government agencies hesitate to fully utilize generative AI. Furthermore, regulations regarding the cross-border transfer and third-party provision of data, such as the Personal Information Protection Law, financial industry guidelines, medical information guidelines, and rules for cloud service use in government information systems, are becoming stricter year by year. To address these challenges, the Company leverages the knowledge cultivated in building its own data centers and networks to launch the "Closed AI BOX," an AI solution completed within a closed network environment. ■ Overview of "Closed AI BOX" The "Closed AI BOX" is a physical AI server equipped with a large language model. By installing it in a closed section within the customer's premises or our data center, it realizes AI utilization such as document summarization, internal information retrieval, and voice analysis without sending business data to external cloud AI. - Data does not go outside: All AI processing is completed within the closed network. It supports an air-gapped configuration that can operate without an external cloud AI or internet connection. - Linkage with existing networks: By combining it with our VPN and VoIP gateways, it can naturally integrate with the customer's existing infrastructure. - Compliance with various guidelines: It supports safe AI utilization with a closed configuration based on industry guidelines such as finance, healthcare, and government. - One-stop from introduction to operation: The Company provides end-to-end services, from requirement definition and network design to equipment implementation, maintenance, and operation. ■ First Solution: "VOICE-LINE" Full Call Recording and AI Transcription Option As the first solution utilizing the Closed AI BOX, we have added a new option to our 0ABJ-compatible communication service "VOICE-LINE." It automatically records all calls on VOICE-LINE, a call service compatible with nationwide landline numbers (0ABJ), and uses AI to transcribe and summarize them. Voice data is processed within our data center and is not sent to external cloud AI.
