In this presentation, Four Globe introduced the concept of cost reduction and improvement of resident services by utilizing LINE notification messages, with the theme of next-generation digital resident touchpoints for water bureaus.

It is also characterized by its operation being limited to notifications deemed beneficial, not for advertising or promotional purposes.

In response to challenges in resident communication that assumes paper and mail, such as continuous costs and operational burdens, risks of non-delivery, and difficulty in immediate transmission during emergencies, the presentation proposed a direction for building more accessible and easier-to-operate resident touchpoints by utilizing communication infrastructure that is used daily.

In addition, it introduced the design philosophy, including unique initiatives such as "SMS Fallback" which achieves 99.9% fallback when LINE notification messages are not delivered, operational concepts for balancing improved resident convenience and operational efficiency, secure design that considers the handling of data based on authenticated accounts, and a phased implementation process with an eye toward integration with existing systems.

The presentation was tailored to practical operations, from the perspective of how to redesign resident communication in the water business as a whole, rather than simply replacing notification methods with LINE.

This presentation demonstrates how to design communication to deliver necessary information through appropriate means more reliably, in promoting the digitalization of resident touchpoints in the water business.
