Fenrir Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; CEO: Kenji Makino), a company dedicated to design and technology, released the first iPhone version of its app "DROMI," which allows users to create storyboards and video boards on iPad, on Thursday, April 23rd.

The storyboard creation experience previously realized on iPad has been reproduced in a palm-sized format.

It is easy to use on the go, making storyboard creation and data sharing smoother than ever.

1. iPad storyboard creation experience now on iPhone

All existing functions have been retained, and the app now supports the detailed finger operations of the iPhone. Timeline operations, such as drawing illustrations on the shot panel, are based on the traditional iPad experience.

On the storyboard display screen, you can input text by flicking in the memo field.

We have received many requests from users for iPhone compatibility. With this update, users can now work more freely regardless of location, making storyboard creation more accessible.

2. Features of DROMI

The app is equipped with highly operable functions that allow users to concentrate on storyboard creation.

■ Draw

・ Smooth drawing

Users can draw storyboards as they envision them, using pens, erasers, and selection tools along the timeline. With an iPad and iPhone, ideas can be expressed intuitively by drawing directly. Connecting drawn shots quickly completes a storyboard.

・ Sync with music

Easily edit shots to match music. Anyone can create highly accurate storyboards. MP3 and WAV music formats are supported.

■ Playback

Immediately preview after drawing. Easily adjust by switching shots to match the music and checking effects with moving images. Adjustments can be made immediately on the editing screen, shortening work time.

■ Share

Created works can be saved and shared in various formats (MP4, PDF, PNG) according to their purpose. When sharing from a production iPad or iPhone to another device, save in DROMI format (.domi) and use AirDrop or cloud services.

3. DROMI featured on Apple's 2026 Gallery Page

DROMI has been featured on Apple's publicly released 2026 Gallery page.

It is the first Japanese app to be a use case for Liquid Glass.

In addition to supporting Liquid Glass's new design, we reconsidered the structure to focus on ease of drawing storyboards, considering how to integrate it into the DROMI world view.

See Apple Developer for details.
