About the Digitalization and AI Introduction Subsidy

The Digitalization and AI Introduction Subsidy is a government grant designed to improve labor productivity among small and medium-sized enterprises and small business operators by supporting the adoption of IT tools (software, services, etc.) for operational efficiency improvements and digital transformation (DX). The subsidy covers up to half of the two-year usage fee for Julea, amounting to 276,000 yen (excluding tax) out of 552,000 yen.

Additionally, under the Digitalization and AI Introduction Subsidy 2026, applicants may qualify for an increased subsidy rate of up to two-thirds if they demonstrate that at least 30% of their employees are paid at or above the regional minimum wage plus 50 yen and have been employed for three months or longer.
