3rd Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference Forum, Subcommittee to be Held!

The Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference Board (Chairperson: Norichika Kanie, Professor, Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University) will hold the "3rd Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference Forum," positioned as an interim report, on Friday, July 3, 2026.

The plenary session in the morning will present an interim report from the subcommittees, provide input on the development of activities towards Beyond SDGs nationwide, and discuss support systems, aiming to make recommendations for international goals beyond 2030.

The afternoon subcommittee sessions will continue the discussions from February, focusing on concrete deliberations under the co-chairs based on the "6 Entry Points" presented in the UN GSDR.

We widely invite participation from all those interested in the vision of society beyond 2030.

【What are the 6 Entry Points?】

The "6 Entry Points" for transformation towards a sustainable future, proposed in the UN's "Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR)" 2019 and 2023. The Public-Private Conference uses these as a starting point for discussions on the future of goals, without being constrained by existing frameworks, and considering the interconnections of issues.

About the Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference

The Beyond SDGs Public-Private Conference was proposed at the "SDGs Promotion Roundtable" of the Japanese Government's SDGs Promotion Headquarters in October 2024.
