Victor Entertainment, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akira Ono) collaborated with seminars at Taisho University's Faculty of Expression, where students took the lead in planning and video production on the theme of "Victor's 100th Anniversary." Through this initiative, students actively engaged in setting targets, devising plans, and determining expression methods, shaping the appeal of this milestone anniversary from multiple perspectives.

Our company presented the theme, "Devise plans to widely communicate Victor's 100th anniversary to society," and each group developed and presented their proposals.

The first group targeted young people aged from their teens to early thirties, proposing an "Experiential Event: Victor x Shrine 'Otonomiya.'" By incorporating the traditional element of a shrine, the plan expresses Victor's 100-year history and journey, while also embodying forward-looking aspirations for the "next 100 years" through the power of music.

The second group proposed a plan for families: "A live concert inviting families with babies" and "An experiential expo enjoyable for all ages, from adults to children." The content aimed to create opportunities for everyone to share the appeal of music across generations and bring smiles to their faces.

["CM Video Production" on the Theme of "Victor's 100th Anniversary"]

Furthermore, our company presented the theme, "Produce videos to convey Victor's 100th anniversary," and students in each group worked on creating CM videos.

Group A produced a work depicting the power of music to encourage people, featuring "people who strive hard" as protagonists. The video portrays setbacks faced in daily life, such as students struggling with job hunting, working adults facing career plateaus, and students on sports teams losing their final matches, ultimately showing them gathering at a Victor live venue and regaining a positive outlook through music.

Group B created a unique video themed around Victor trivia. The story follows a protagonist who runs on a spinning record, tackling a series of quizzes. The film is a fast-paced and comical work, complete with演出 for correct and incorrect answers.

The videos produced by the students will be shown internally for our staff for a limited time.

Victor Entertainment, Inc., under its group philosophy of "Good Music, Good Culture," aims to enrich people's daily lives and futures through the power of music and culture. We will continue to promote educational initiatives through collaborations with educational institutions, companies, organizations, and events, contributing to the local community.

Victor Entertainment, Inc.

Victor Entertainment, Inc. began record production in 1928 as the music division of Japan Victor Company (now JVCKENWOOD Corporation).

Since its separation and independence as a record company in 1972, it has consistently served as the core of the Victor Group's (now JVCKENWOOD Group) entertainment business. As a comprehensive software company, it has developed a wide range of businesses, primarily focused on the planning, production, and sales of music software.

Throughout its long history, not only has music itself evolved with the times, but so have the ways people enjoy music.

However, the desire for people to seek "dreams" and "inspiration" in music and to lead fulfilling lives has remained constant throughout every era.

Victor Entertainment, Inc. will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027.

Under our new group philosophy "Good Music, Good Culture," we are committed to pioneering new eras and contributing to culture and society through the power of entertainment, and we will continue to strive for the creation of new value with all our employees united.
