Summer Vacation Job Experience for the Whole Family! Experience "From Order to Delivery" in One Hour

Pal System Federation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Okubo, Chairperson: Atsuyuki Shibusawa) will hold its "Job Experience" program for 13 sessions over 8 days in August 2026 at its logistics and IT experience facility in Inagi City, Tokyo. Aimed at elementary school students and their guardians, the program introduces the delivery system through logistics and IT experiences.

Popular Event Nearing 2,000 Participants

The job experience facility features a sorter actually used at Pal System's logistics center, along with original videos, panels, and tablets. The program takes about an hour, allowing participants to learn about the delivery system while having fun. After the program, participants can take commemorative photos with a life-sized Pal System delivery truck displayed on a wall and receive gifts. (Supported by the Inagi City Board of Education)

Pal System delivers over 10 million items weekly to 800,000 households. The program showcases the system used to reliably deliver a large volume of products by utilizing logistics sorting equipment and information systems. It also helps participants understand modern societal movements, such as the rapid spread of digitalization.

Co-op delivery is a highly sustainable system that achieves food loss reduction and resource circulation by accepting advance orders and collecting recyclables during delivery. Both children and adults can learn the importance of IT and logistics that support society through hands-on experience.

Pal System has been conducting its job experience program since 2023. Including workplace experience opportunities for local elementary and junior high schools and other educational institutions, over 1,900 people have participated so far. Children have expressed enjoyment, saying things like "Shopping on the tablet is fun" and "I want to experience more." Guardians have also given positive feedback, such as "It was informative for adults too" and "My child became interested in food."

Access:

15-minute walk from Inagi Station, or take bus route "Ina12" from bus stop #1 towards "Wakyodai Station" and get off at "Inagi Chuo Koen" (Inagi Central Park), then a 5-minute walk.

20-minute walk from Minami-Tama Station, or take bus route "i-bus B Course" from bus stop #2 towards "Hirao Danchi" and get off at "Shohi Seikatsu Center" (Consumer Life Center), then a 3-minute walk.
