Palsystem Tokyo Launches 'Onigiri Good' Campaign on Official X from June 19 [Tokyo]

Palsystem Tokyo Consumer Cooperative (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Yoko Nishimura) will launch the 'Onigiri Good' posting campaign on its official X account starting Friday, June 19, 2026. As part of the 'Onigiri Good' initiative promoted by the Palsystem Group—focused on increasing rice consumption and food education—each participation in the campaign will count as an action toward donating rice to children's cafeterias and other support organizations. Twenty participants will be selected by lottery to receive a set of rice and ingredients for onigiri.

Easy Participation via Follow & Button Click

Since 2022, Palsystem has been running the 'Kome de Koeteku' (Overcoming with Rice) campaign to support rice-producing regions amid declining domestic rice consumption and regional challenges. 'Onigiri Good' is a food education initiative that encourages people to eat and make onigiri, sharing the joy and flavor of rice.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of 'Onigiri Good' and expand support for rice-producing areas by offering an easy way for the public to participate.

Rice Donations to Children's Cafeterias Based on Action Count

Participation numbers from 'Onigiri Good'-related initiatives are tallied as 'actions.' Once the cumulative total reaches 10,000 actions, 1 ton of directly sourced rice will be donated to children's cafeterias and other support groups. Entries from this campaign will also be counted as actions.
