Grants Awarded to 13 Organizations for Childcare Support, Community Building, and More; Ceremony on Sat, May 23 [Yamanashi, Nagano]

Palsystem Consumers' Co-operative Union Yamanashi Nagano (Headquarters: Kofu, Yamanashi; President: Shizuko Furuya) will hold a grant presentation ceremony for civic activities on Saturday, May 23, from 1:30 PM at Jit Kofu Plaza (Kofu, Yamanashi). For the fiscal year 2026, 13 organizations active in Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures, involved in childcare support, creating spaces for multiple generations, and regional promotion through agriculture, have been selected as grant recipients. The total grant amount is 1,999,550 yen.

Over 43 Million Yen in Total, Providing Opportunities for Connection

The civic activity grant system was established in 2002 to use surplus funds from business activities for community contribution. It supports activities by people living in Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures to expand their connections, solve various issues, and revitalize their communities. To date, over 43 million yen has been granted to more than 270 organizations.

The presentation ceremony will include the awarding of grant certificates, presentations by each organization about their activities, and a networking session among the groups.

In addition to financial support, Palsystem Yamanashi Nagano deepens mutual understanding of the regional issues each grant recipient organization faces by collaborating at events held in the region and organizing networking events to introduce their activities.
