Pal System Consumers' Cooperative Union (Headquarters: Okubo, Shinjuku-ku; President: Haruyuki Shibusawa) will hold a "Work Experience" event on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at its logistics and IT experiential facility in Inagi City, Tokyo. This event aims to introduce the mechanism of home delivery through logistics and IT experiences, targeting elementary school students and their guardians.

Now is the perfect time to visit before summer vacation! Applications are currently being accepted.

The work experience facility is equipped with actual sorting machines used in Pal System's logistics centers, as well as original videos, panels, and tablets. The program takes about one hour, allowing participants to enjoy learning about the home delivery system. After the program, commemorative photos can be taken against a life-sized Pal System delivery truck covering an entire wall, and presents will be given. (Supported by Inagi City Board of Education)

Pal System delivers over 10 million items to 800,000 households every week. This event will showcase the mechanism of reliably delivering large quantities of goods by making full use of logistics sorting equipment and information systems. It also helps in understanding the movements of modern society, such as the rapid spread of digitalization.

Co-op home delivery is a highly sustainable system that achieves food loss reduction and resource circulation by accepting orders in advance and collecting recycled items during delivery. Both children and adults can learn the importance of IT and logistics that support society through their own experiences.

Pal System has been organizing work experience events since 2023. Including accepting workplace experience from local elementary and junior high schools and other educational institutions, over 1,900 people have participated so far. Children's voices include "Shopping on a tablet is fun," and "I want to experience more," showing their enjoyment of the program. Guardians have also given positive feedback such as "It was educational for adults too," and "My child became interested in food."
