Online Event: "Lifelong Skincare" by 91-year-old Beauty Researcher, May 30 (Sat)

Pal System Consumers' Co-operative Union (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Haruyuki Shibusawa) will host an online event titled "Life is Always Ahead: Tips for Beautiful Living from 91-year-old Beauty Researcher Teruko Kobayashi" from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This event will invite a pioneer in Japanese makeup artistry to deliver tips for living a more positive life moving forward.

**Tips for organizing your daily life also taught**

During the event, beauty researcher and makeup artist Teruko Kobayashi will share "lifelong skincare" methods that can be easily continued even in a busy daily routine. Ms. Kobayashi is known as the founder of "natural makeup" and, at 91 years old, still advocates the "hot and cold beauty method" which stimulates the skin by alternating its temperature, and is dedicated to nurturing future generations.

The event will also introduce tips for beautiful living, such as cherishing oneself and organizing one's life from the ground up, rather than giving up due to age or complexes.

**Lecturer Profile**

Ms. Teruko Kobayashi (Beauty Researcher, Makeup Artist)

Born in 1935. Studied beauty at Kosé Corporation and is known as the founder of "natural makeup." Developed hit products that remain in cosmetic history, such as the world's first powder foundation. After becoming independent in 1991, she advocated and widely popularized the "hot and cold beauty method." She established [FROM HAND] Makeup Academy and Aoyama Beauty Gakuin High School, dedicating herself to nurturing future generations. Concurrently, she invested her private assets to establish the Amateras Academia General Incorporated Association, which trains next-generation female leaders. In 2023, she was appointed Representative Director of the Japan Makeup Artist Association.
