Pal System Ibaraki Tochigi Consumers' Cooperative (Headquarters: Maika, Mito City; Representative Director: Yasuyo Aoki) and Inashiki City (Mayor Shintaro Kakehi) will hold a signing ceremony for a child-rearing support agreement at Inashiki City Hall on Thursday, April 30, from 2:00 PM. Based on the agreement, "Omedeto-Bako" (celebration boxes) filled with products useful for childcare will be delivered to applying parenting households. Through the collaboration between the administration and the cooperative, citizens will be able to raise children with peace of mind, and an environment where all children can grow up healthy will be promoted.

**Celebrating Births with "Omedeto-Bako" Presents**

Based on the "Partnership Agreement for the Promotion of Child-rearing Support," Inashiki City will distribute "Omedeto-Bako" guide cards, which contain childcare products as a birth celebration, during health check-ups for infants aged 3-4 months. The birth celebration boxes will be filled with items such as diaper changing sheets, wet wipes, tuna flakes useful for making baby food, and baby udon, delivered by Pal System's home delivery service.

Pal System will directly hand over the "Omedeto-Bako" to applicants on behalf of the city. As a cooperative that supports parenting households during local deliveries, it will play a role in providing and delivering products. In addition to product delivery, it will introduce information such as lists of childcare consultations and support organizations created by the city, fostering interaction and community monitoring. This marks the 27th child-rearing support partnership agreement with municipalities since it began last year, expanding community-wide child-rearing support.
