Pal System Consumers' Co-operative Union (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Haruyuki Shibusawa) and the Japan Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Terumi Tanaka) will hold an event to think about the importance of peace titled 'Let's Find Everyone's Peace' at Musashino Place in Musashino City from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 (public holiday). In addition to setting up 9 booths, including a VR experience of atomic bomb damage and fair trade banana (*) tasting, stages such as a lecture where the person concerned talks about their A-bomb experience and a multi-generational talk session are planned.
(*) Fair trade: A system that supports the independence and improvement of living standards of producers in developing countries by continuously purchasing raw materials and products at fair prices.
### Feel Peace during Golden Week The event aims to create an opportunity to think about peace familiarly by conveying the misery of war and the inhumanity of nuclear weapons. The venues are the 1st-floor gallery and the 4th-floor forum of Musashino Place (Musashino City, Tokyo).
At the venue, there will be exhibits including a replica of the Nobel Peace Prize medal awarded to ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) in 2017, picture books conveying the situation of Palestinian children where the humanitarian crisis is deepening, and pictures and panels drawn by A-bomb survivors. A 'Message Tree' will also be set up where visitors can write and attach their thoughts on peace, sharing their wishes for a world without conflict.
The workshop booth will feature a VR corner for simulating atomic bomb damage, and activities to make mascots 'War Broom' (Senso-Hoki) and friendship bracelets using familiar materials. At the fair trade banana tasting corner, we will convey that stable income through fair trade leads to the resolution of social unrest and conflicts caused by poverty, contributing to respect for human rights and the realization of a peaceful society.
A stamp rally will also be held within the venue, and all participants will receive a 'Carrot-san Mini Carrot Fruit Juice 100ml' as a gift. The first 200 people who collect all the stamps will also receive a 'Direct-from-Farm Olive Oil Marseille Soap (Trial Sample)'.
