### Creating connections through attendee networking
Pal system Saitama's "Civic Activity Support Fund" is a system established in 1998 to utilize the surplus obtained from business activities in the prefecture for community contribution. It financially supports civic organizations working on familiar local issues such as welfare, town development, and the environment. Since fiscal 2021, it has integrated the "Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support Grant" established in 2015, and also supports organizations working on reconstruction support.

For fiscal 2025, after deliberation by a steering committee composed of Pal system users, executives and employees, and external experts, and an open selection meeting by users, it was decided to grant a total of 4 million yen to 16 organizations. At the presentation ceremony, Yoshiko Nishiuchi, Chairperson of Pal system Saitama, handed the catalog to each grant recipient.

After the presentation ceremony, in addition to activity reports utilizing the support funds by the 15 organizations granted in fiscal 2024, a networking event was held by the attendees, where they communicated the regional issues they each face.

Various problems are becoming apparent in each region, such as the widening economic disparity, and the isolation of child-rearing/elderly households as well as refugees/immigrants. Pal system Saitama will continue to value connections with people facing various issues in the community, aiming to create a society of coexistence.
