Nexta Co., Ltd. Signs Official Sponsor/SDGs Partner Agreement with J.League's "Cerezo Osaka"! Acquires Naming Rights for "Cerezo Osaka LTO Activity" Beach Cleanup on Home Game Days

Nexta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Joto Ward, Osaka City; President: Koji Toriyama; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed an Official Sponsor/SDGs Partner agreement with "Cerezo Osaka" (Cerezo Osaka Co., Ltd., Headquarters: Higashisumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City; President: Takayuki Heki), a team belonging to the J.League.

As part of this partnership, the Company has acquired the naming rights for the stadium vicinity cleanup activity "LEADS TO THE OCEAN (common name: LTO) Ocean Continuation Project," which Cerezo Osaka is undertaking with NPO Umi Sakura and The Nippon Foundation. Going forward, under the name "Cerezo Osaka LTO supported by Nexta Co., Ltd.," we will promote sustainable environmental conservation activities together with supporters and the local community.

Background of the Agreement and LTO Activity Support

Since its founding in 1912 (Meiji 45), Nexta Co., Ltd. has been a manufacturer of paper bags and household goods, focusing on manufacturing that aligns with people's lives and is environmentally conscious, as well as engaging in social contribution activities. Meanwhile, Cerezo Osaka is promoting advanced SDGs activities utilizing the power of sports under the banner of "SAKURA SUSTAINABILITY."

In response to the issue that "approximately 80% of ocean waste originates from land," the "LTO activity," which aims to clean up the city starting from the stadium and protect the marine environment, has a very high affinity with the philosophy of our flagship product, the "Gomikko Poi" draining garbage bag, which aims to "protect the beauty of rivers and oceans from household kitchens (water quality conservation)."

"LEADS TO THE OCEAN (LTO)" is a project aiming to solve the problem of ocean waste through sports. On J.League home game days, we will conduct cleanup activities around Yanmar Stadium Nagai together with supporters and volunteers.

Cleanup Activities Around the Stadium

On home game days (league matches), we will conduct garbage collection around the stadium to contribute to reducing waste flowing from the city into the ocean.

Awareness Raising and Community Building for Participants

Participants will receive an original Cerezo Osaka LTO player card as a gift. We also distribute stamp cards and provide other mechanisms to support enjoyable and continuous participation, expanding the circle of environmental awareness.
