DocuSign Japan K.K. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "DocuSign Japan") announces that Hiroki Yoshida has been appointed as Country Manager effective June 1, 2026, and that the Tokyo head office will be strategically relocated in August. This marks a new phase in the company's growth and commitment to the Japanese market.
Mr. Yoshida, who has assumed the role of Country Manager, has a distinguished track record of leading major companies in the Japanese IT industry. He has held key positions at IBM Japan, SAP Japan, and Informatica Japan, gaining extensive experience in growing technology businesses. Most recently, he served as Senior Executive Officer of the Sales Business Division at Google Cloud Japan. Through this career, Yoshida has built a solid reputation for leading organizations in the Japanese IT industry over many years.
DocuSign Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of US-based Docusign, has been helping companies digitize their contract processes. Through its comprehensive end-to-end Intelligent Agreement Management platform, centered on its industry-leading e-signature solution, Docusign streamlines workflows and improves operational efficiency.
With Mr. Yoshida's appointment, the company will further accelerate the deployment of Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM), which unifies the entire contract lifecycle from preparation and execution to utilization, moving beyond traditional digitization and efficiency improvements. Through these efforts, DocuSign Japan aims to help companies strengthen compliance, minimize risk, and transform contract operations into a driver of business growth.
Regarding this change, Shaun McLagan, Group Vice President and APJ General Manager at Docusign, said: "Japan is one of the most important growth opportunities for Docusign, and local deep insight and trusted leadership are essential to succeed here. Mr. Yoshida's appointment reflects our continued commitment and investment in Japan, one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. He not only understands the complexities of this market but also knows what it takes to earn the trust of Japanese companies. We are delighted to deliver to our Japanese customers and partners the news of the new Tokyo office relocation and the evolution of our platform into a full Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) system, marking a new phase."
Strategic Relocation of Tokyo Office
To support business momentum, accommodate future hiring expansion, and align with the management change, DocuSign Japan will relocate its Tokyo head office to Toranomon Hills (Minato-ku, Tokyo).
In August, Docusign will open a new office with approximately 2.5 times the floor area of the current one. This significant expansion provides the operational foundation needed to enlarge local hiring plans and strengthen customer-facing operations.
Designed to embody Docusign's core values of "inclusion", "sustainability", and "flexible hybrid work", this new environment prioritizes employee well-being and productivity. The architectural layout maximizes natural light and integrates greenery extensively. Functional spaces are balanced to accommodate diverse work styles, including quiet focus rooms, dedicated collaboration zones for team innovation, vibrant social spaces, and hospitality-rich meeting rooms for client interactions.
Mr. Yoshida, the newly appointed Country Manager, said: "I have been supporting customer business transformation in the IT industry for many years. Docusign has evolved significantly from a world-leading e-signature solution provider to a company offering Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) that unifies the entire lifecycle from preparation and execution to utilization. I look forward to leveraging my experience to transform contract operations from mere administrative tasks into drivers of business growth, with Docusign's core principle of customer-first perspective, and contributing to our customers' continued success."
