After serving as an Associate Professor at Nanzan University, she is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Theology, Kwansei Gakuin University. Her specialty is philosophy and religious studies. Her research focuses on the relationship between cultural backgrounds, such as religion, and mindsets. Translated books include Tanya M. Luhrmann's 'How God Becomes Real: Kindling the Presence of Invisible Others' (2024, Keio University Press). Edited and co-authored books include 'Disposition: Toward the Creation of a Method to Capture the World Cross-Disciplinarily, from Philosophy, Ethics, and Ecological Psychology to Art and Architecture' (2008, Gendaikikakushitsu). Her recent themes of interest are the rightward shift in US tech and the relationship between young people returning to Christianity and the declining birthrate.

Kotaro Okada
Representative Director of De-Silo. Born in Tokyo in 1994. After majoring in service design at Keio University and working as an editor for the Japanese edition of 'WIRED', he founded De-Silo in 2022, an academic incubator/think tank centered around researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Through the creation of knowledge networks and ecosystems, he supports the development of new social systems and corporate innovation required in the rapidly changing 2020s. He concurrently serves as the Representative Director of B-Side Incubator and a partner at the creative collective 'PARTY'. Selected for 'Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2023'. His recent interest as an editor is 'presenting the most important themes of today'. As the representative of De-Silo, it is 'building a sustainable knowledge ecosystem'. Personally, it is 'making the city of Tokyo more interesting'.
