Daisei Every24 Corporation (Headquarters: Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Takashi Tanaka, hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') will hold the opening ceremony of the logistics safety education facility 'Every24 Safety Academy (ESA)' on July 16, 2026 (Thursday) at 531-27 Hazarashi, Hazarashi-cho, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture.

ESA is a logistics safety education facility with four pillars: safety education, human resource development, aptitude diagnosis, and regional contribution, and is scheduled to start operations in July 2026 as the Company's human resource development hub. On the day of the ceremony, in addition to the facility opening, the 'New Driver Certification' to determine the possibility of solo driving for new drivers will be conducted. This will be the first opportunity to publicly showcase the trial ground for becoming a professional driver before entering the field.

This facility is an initiative for logistics companies to establish their own training facilities with educational functions, aiming to strengthen the human resource development base that supports the Company's logistics quality.

The Company Group has set the following purpose:

'Changing the future of logistics with the power of 'thought' and 'imagination'.'

Logistics plays an important role as social infrastructure supporting people's lives. Under this philosophy, the Company positions human resource development to support logistics quality as one of the important management bases and will promote further advancement of driver training and safe operation systems through the launch of ESA.

What is ESA (Every24 Safety Academy)?

Every24 Safety Academy (ESA) is a facility scheduled to start operations on July 1, 2026 as the core of the Company's educational activities. Located at 531-27 Hazarashi, Hazarashi-cho, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, the facility has an area of 1,286 tsubo (approximately 4,251 square meters). In addition to being equipped with training courses that respond to S-shaped, crank-shaped, parallel parking, home attachment, and hill start driving, as well as forklift education courses, it also has a multipurpose training room, aptitude diagnosis room, and rest area.

With training and certification programs tailored to each stage from newcomers to veterans, ESA aims to support skill development from the basics to advanced levels and serves as a human resource development hub for the entire group, including group companies, to improve safety and quality.

Four Initiatives at ESA

ESA will conduct educational activities centered around four initiatives.

1. Safety Education

Programs such as 'New Driver Certification', 'Master Certification Exam', 'Forklift Certification', and 'Side-Riding Instructor Training' to evaluate and strengthen the safety skills of Crew members. Equipped with training courses that respond to S-shaped, crank-shaped, parallel parking, home attachment, and hill start driving, as well as forklift education courses.

2. Human Resource Development

Develop diverse human resources through 'Specified Skills' and 'Driver's License Acquisition Training (Medium Size)'. While general driving schools offer a maximum of 2 hours per day, ESA offers a maximum of 8 hours per day of practical training, achieving early skill development through concentrated training.

3. Aptitude Diagnosis

Through 'Initial Diagnosis', 'General Diagnosis', and 'Appropriate Age Diagnosis', the driving characteristics of each Crew member are visualized. Counseling is conducted based on the diagnosis results to understand one's own driving characteristics and improve safe driving awareness. In the future, we also aim to obtain certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

4. Regional Contribution

As a local company, we will conduct 'Traffic Safety Classes' for local residents and children. Through safety explanations of trucks and blind spot experiences, we will deepen the bonds with the region as a 'visible transportation company' and build a culture where the company and the region learn about traffic safety together.

About the Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony to be held on July 16, 2026 (Thursday) will include facility tours and demo drives, as well as the public implementation of the 'New Driver Certification'.

What is the New Driver Certification?

A two-day certification conducted in a headquarters collective format for new drivers at each center, which is an important hurdle for determining the possibility of solo driving. It consists of practical content such as crew member training, pre-operation inspection, written test, on-site test, road test, and chain attachment training, serving as the final check for Crew members to go out to the field as 'Professional Drivers'. Part of it will be publicly shown on the day of the ceremony.

Background and Purpose of Establishment

In recent years, against the backdrop of the expansion of the EC market and the increase in delivery demand, the logistics industry is facing a serious shortage of drivers. Additionally, responding to the so-called 'Logistics 2024 Problem' due to the enforcement of work style reform-related laws, the construction of a sustainable logistics system has become an important issue for the entire industry.

In such an environment, logistics companies are required not only to secure personnel but also to strengthen the educational system that supports safe operation and business quality. In particular, for the chilled food logistics that the Company handles, thorough temperature and time management is essential, and the development of human resources that can balance safe driving and high-quality logistics operations is important.

The Company has positioned human resource development as one of the important management bases from the beginning and has been working on driver development through in-house education and safety training. To further develop these initiatives, we have established ESA as a dedicated training facility specializing in logistics education.

Future Prospects

In the future, the Company will continue to provide an environment where all Crew members can actively participate in the field with confidence through educational activities at ESA, and will also consider the external expansion of educational functions such as providing aptitude diagnosis to group companies, aiming to promote initiatives that support the safety of local communities and the future of logistics.
