Throughout the year starting from April 2025, the General Incorporated Association CHANGE FOR THE BLUE Osaka has been conducting an initiative to certify restaurants and companies that use environmentally friendly materials as much as possible for takeout containers, bags, straws, etc., as 'Paper (God) Response Stores' (a play on words where 'kami' means both paper and god-tier) amid the serious environmental issues caused by marine plastic waste.

Furthermore, this fiscal year, from January to March 2026, special features focusing on the initiatives of each store were broadcast on a local broadcasting station.

This project is held as part of the 'Nippon Foundation Ocean Project - CHANGE FOR THE BLUE', an initiative promoting countermeasures against marine waste driven by the Nippon Foundation.
