Report on the Final Performance of 'Educational TV Program' Fan Meeting 'Educational Film Festival' in Nagoya

The event toured six cities across Japan, concluding with its final performance in Nagoya on Saturday, June 27.

'Educational Film Festival' was a fan meeting event featuring the first-ever mid-length anime screening of 'Educational TV Program,' along with numerous special programs designed for fans.

Following the significant response to the February Tokyo and March Osaka performances, additional shows were held in Sapporo, Sendai, Fukuoka, and Nagoya, completing a six-city nationwide tour that attracted large audiences at each location.

Comedy duo 'Kevins (Yoshimoto Kogyo)' appeared as special guests at the Sapporo and Fukuoka performances, while 'Nagareboshi☆ (Asai Planning)' joined the Sendai and Nagoya shows. The venues were filled with laughter and applause, with attendees and performers enjoying the event together.

To commemorate the six-city tour, starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the mid-length anime from 'Educational Film Festival' will be made available for streaming, along with online sales of merchandise—including three new items not previously sold at live venues.

Highlights from the Final Nagoya Performance

Despite concerns over typhoon impacts, the final Nagoya performance was successfully held to a full house. Attendees eagerly awaited the start, many seen holding Tamapets—the official puppet merchandise from 'Educational Film Festival.'

The event began with the screening of a new mid-length anime, approximately 20 minutes long, offering fans a rich experience of the unique world of 'Educational TV Program,' including the main feature, opening, and ending sequences.

After the screening, Tama emerged onto the stage upon announcement by 'Yami no Oneesan,' peeking at the audience. During Tama’s 'walk time,' photography and video recording were allowed, and the venue buzzed with calls of 'Tama!' and 'So cute!' as Tama slowly wandered through the audience, head down, to the theme music 'Kyōiku Bangumi no Tēma.' Eventually, appearing tired, Tama took a brief rest on a front-row seat before returning safely to the stage.

In the second half, special guests Nagareboshi☆ (Chuuei and Takiue) took the stage. Having also performed in Sendai, they interacted seamlessly with Tama.

In the 'Educational Radio' segment, Takiue read out questions collected in advance via X using the hashtag #教育ラジオ, to which Tama responded using her signature flip cards. The audience laughed at Tama’s characteristically quirky answers. Chuuei then taught Tama his famous knife-juggling gag 'Shakashaka Shakasha Shakasha Shaka,' which Tama immediately mastered with sharp, precise movements, drawing even louder laughter.

Later, as Nagareboshi☆ performed their manzai comedy, Tama casually joined them on stage, creating a three-person act. In their original skit 'Tama Game,' even the non-speaking Tama successfully delivered laughs using a knife.

Tama also perfectly mastered Chuuei’s iconic 'Elbow God' dance, receiving thunderous applause from the audience as she flawlessly followed Chuuei’s singing. With this performance, the nationwide 'Educational Film Festival' tour concluded successfully with its final show in Nagoya.
