Documentary Film "HAWKS SP!RIT – Memories of 273 Days" Chronicles Hawks' Miraculous Comeback Championship

"HAWKS SP!RIT – Memories of 273 Days" is a documentary film following the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks' remarkable journey from finishing last in the previous season to achieving back-to-back championships in the PEARSON PL League. The film was released nationwide in 36 theaters starting Friday, December 26, 2025.

The 2025 season for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks began with a three-game losing streak at home and saw the team languishing at the bottom of the league standings for the first time in 12 years. With players departing one after another, manager Katsuya Ogura himself described the season as an "emergency," making it a year defined by a series of tough decisions. This film delves into the "convictions" held by the manager and players as they fought their way back from rock bottom, revealing the inner workings of the team from behind-the-scenes locations such as the dugout and practice fields—perspectives rarely seen in regular broadcasts. Captured entirely by cameras embedded with the team throughout the season, the film compiles powerful unseen footage to expose the truth behind 273 days of intense struggle.

Narration is provided by Yuki Yoda, an actress and former member of Nogizaka46 who hails from Fukuoka Prefecture, while the theme song is performed by SixTONES—both of which are highlights not to be missed.

The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks are aiming for a third consecutive league title and a second straight Japan Series championship this year, currently locked in fierce competition near the top of the standings.
