JinkoSolar has recently signed a high-efficiency module supply agreement with a leading clean energy investor in Italy for a total capacity of 200.3MW. The project will exclusively deploy the 'Tiger Neo 3.0' N-type TOPCon high-efficiency bifacial modules, which are scheduled to be installed in large-scale ground-mounted solar power plants in southern Italy.
Southern Italy features hilly terrain and gentle slopes, where partial shading tends to occur during early mornings and evenings within solar farms. Additionally, rapid irradiance fluctuations caused by moving clouds are common, and localized shading can significantly impact power generation. Therefore, modules are required not only to deliver high power output but also to maintain stable performance under complex environmental conditions.
The Tiger Neo 3.0 achieves a maximum output of 670W and a mass-production-leading conversion efficiency of up to 24.8%, contributing to high land-use efficiency even in limited installation areas. Furthermore, its excellent shading tolerance minimizes the impact of partial shading, supporting stable power generation even in complex terrains.
Moreover, with a high bifaciality factor of up to 90%, the module effectively utilizes reflected and scattered light from the ground surface, enabling further enhancement of power generation revenue. Coupled with a low temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C, it maintains stable output even under high-temperature conditions, contributing to long-term investment value.
Going forward, JinkoSolar will continue to support the global energy transition through high-efficiency and highly reliable products.
