Generic Cosmetics Secures Funding from Vision Platform for Growth

Generic Cosmetics Co., Ltd., based in Kofu, Yamanashi, and led by Kazuya Niitsu, announced the completion of its latest funding round, with Vision Platform Co., Ltd. as the subscriber. Since its initial investment by Vision Platform in 2025, Generic Cosmetics has grown sales and members over five-fold in one year, expanding its lineup as the sole owner of the 'Generic Cosmetics' and 'Generic Cosme' trademarks in Japan. The newly acquired funds will be invested in product development, brand awareness, marketing, entering new product categories, and establishing new customer touchpoints. Both CEOs, Kazuya Niitsu of Generic Cosmetics and Yuki Sakai of Vision Platform, expressed commitment to accelerating business expansion and democratizing high-quality cosmetics. Generic Cosmetics was established in 2021.
