Towards a Lounge Experience Unbound by Power Outlet Locations: SHARE LOUNGE to Pilot "Popolo mini Quad" at 4 Locations

Swiftechie Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshio Matsue, hereinafter "Swiftechie") will begin the phased rollout of the Portable Power Hub "Popolo mini Quad" at four locations of "SHARE LOUNGE," operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CCC"), starting sequentially from July 2026.

The target locations are "SHARE LOUNGE Minatomirai," "Daikanyama Tsutaya Books," "Roppongi Tsutaya Books," and "Umeda Tsutaya Books." One set of "Popolo mini Quad" will be installed at each location, providing power to users according to the store's operational methods.

Through this initiative, we will confirm the impact of portable power sources on user convenience and the lounge's spatial value, while also verifying the operational effectiveness, including lending, returns, charging, and management at the stores.

Another Power Option to Support Diverse Ways of Spending Time

Working. Reading documents. Holding meetings. Or, simply relaxing with a drink.

At SHARE LOUNGE, users can choose from various seats and ways to spend their time according to their purpose and mood for the day.

However, the longer one uses devices like laptops, smartphones, and tablets, the more crucial power becomes for a comfortable stay.

This pilot introduction does not replace the existing power infrastructure within the stores. By providing portable power sources that users can bring to where they need them, in addition to fixed outlets, this initiative aims to further expand choices for seating and how one spends their time.

Users can carry the Popolo mini to their seats according to the store's usage guidelines and use it to charge laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other devices.

This expands the possibilities of choosing a location based on how one wants to spend their time, such as a seat for concentration, a place for conversation, or a spot for reading, rather than solely based on the location of power outlets.

Viewing power not as fixed infrastructure on the wall, but as a small infrastructure delivered to where it's needed.

About Popolo mini Quad

Popolo mini and Popolo mini Quad

"Popolo mini Quad" is a set model for facilities and teams, combining 4 Popolo mini units with a dedicated charging station.

The Popolo mini features a powerful design capable of powering laptops and tablets, a portable body weighing approximately 800g, and includes USB-C, USB-A, and Qi2 compatible wireless charging functions. The USB-C charging cable can be stored within the unit, reducing the hassle of searching for cables during use.

The battery uses a lithium iron phosphate battery. It has a capacity of 80Wh, a maximum total output of 100W, and a charge/discharge cycle life of approximately 2,000 times.

"Quad" can charge and store 4 units simultaneously, making it suitable for environments shared by multiple users, such as lounges, offices, stores, and educational facilities.

Verifying Effectiveness from Both User Experience and Store Operations Perspectives

Following the pilot introduction, CCC and Swiftechie will regularly exchange information to confirm usage status, user feedback, operational challenges at the stores, and the status of failures and inquiries.

Specifically, the effectiveness in actual use will be verified from the following perspectives:

In which seats and situations will it be used?

Can users operate the product without difficulty?

Can store staff smoothly manage lending, returns, and charging?

Will there be a burden in storing and managing the product?

Will there be changes in user satisfaction and how the space is used?

The feedback and operational insights gained will be utilized for product and service improvements.
