WINE GARDEN Event at Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S. for Golden Week 2026

Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S. (Location: Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Satoshi Ashikawa) will hold the "WINE GARDEN" event during Golden Week in 2026. Please enjoy a luxurious and relaxing time surrounded by nature, feeling the breeze from the vineyard spreading out before you.

The "WINE GARDEN" event, where you can enjoy wine on the terrace during the beautiful green season, will be expanded this year with an enhanced food menu. Special seating in the vineyard and chairing seats will also be available.

The special seating in the vineyard, surrounded by grapevines, includes three seats. Numerous outdoor chair and wine-box table seats, typically offered to those enjoying chairing, will be provided. While wine is a highlight, we also encourage those who do not drink alcohol to enjoy our meals! Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.

This set includes 10 food and drink tickets (300 yen each). Tickets can be exchanged for your choice of food or drinks (glass wine, non-alcoholic drinks). Please pay with tickets equivalent to the value.

Izu Wine Free Flow (60 minutes)

Enjoy an hour of all-you-can-drink Izu wine made from grapes from our own vineyards. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available. Glass wine sales are also offered.

Price: 2,500 yen (tax included) per person for 60 minutes

Special Vineyard Seating (Table seats, available May 4th & 5th only) - Limited to 3 seats

Price: 1,000 yen (tax included) per hour. Advance reservations accepted.

Since the opening of "Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S." in 2000, on the majestic Izu foothills with Mt. Fuji in the background, our technicians have pursued the art of cultivating grapes and brewing wine with "passionate dedication" on our 10-hectare vineyard, asking "how can we create wine that is uniquely Izu?" As a comprehensive resort facility that includes not only a winery but also a restaurant, hotel, glamping, and horse riding, please enjoy an elegant time through various experiences alongside the beautiful vineyard scenery that can only be encountered at this time of year.

Nakaizu Winery Hills Overview

Nakaizu Winery Hills is divided into a "Winery Area" with vineyards and a wine factory, and a "Hotel Area" equipped with a private hot spring source and sports facilities. The Winery Area also features a ranch for horseback riding and a chapel suitable for natural weddings. In the fall of 2022, "Nakaizu EAST WINDS VILLAGE," a glamping facility where guests can stay with their dogs, opened.

Access:

1. By Train:

From JR Mishima Station, take the Izuhakone Railway to Shuzenji Station (approx. 40 minutes). From Shuzenji Station, it is about a 10-minute taxi ride to Hotel Winery Hill, and about a 15-minute taxi ride to Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S. and Nakaizu EAST WINDS VILLAGE.

Note: A free shuttle bus operates from Shuzenji Station.

2. By Car:

45 minutes from Numazu I.C. on the Tomei Expressway. Take Route 136, then the Izu Chuo Expressway (toll road), exit at Ohito-Minami I.C., pass the Shuzenji Station entrance, and proceed 3km towards Nakaizu. Turn left at the Kamiwada bus stop for Hotel Winery Hill (approx. 5 minutes). It is about a 10-minute drive to Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S.
