Suntory Ltd. will open its 'Spirits & Liqueur Atelier' tour*¹ at the Suntory Osaka Plant to the public starting Friday, May 8th.

*¹ Reservations open on Thursday, April 9th at 9:30 AM (lottery system).

The Suntory Osaka Plant, built in 1919 in Osaka, the company's birthplace, by founder Shinjiro Torii with the ambition of 'producing domestic Western-style liquors,' is our company's most historic*² plant. For over 100 years, it has supported our craftsmanship, fueled by Shinjiro's desire to 'create Western liquors that suit the Japanese palate and pioneer a culture of Western liquor in Japan.'

*² The predecessor to the 'Osaka Plant,' the 'Chikko Plant,' was constructed in 1919.

In 2025, the plant's manufacturing quality was highly acclaimed, becoming the first Japanese facility to win the 'Liqueur Producer Trophy' in the spirits category at the prestigious 'International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2025'.

Furthermore, starting in 2024, we invested a total of 6.5 billion yen, including for the tour facilities, to construct the new 'Spirits & Liqueur Atelier'. By using carefully selected seasonal ingredients to produce a variety of base spirits and combining them with expert blending techniques, we manufacture a wide range of products, including Suntory Japanese Craft Gin 'ROKU', Suntory Gin 'SUI', and Suntory Liqueur 'KANÁDE'.

We are now opening the plant's tour to the public for the first time. On the tour, visitors can enjoy the carefully selected ingredients used in 'ROKU' with all five senses, through a tour of the production site and tasting of 'base spirits'.

● Main Tour Highlights
