The "Planetarium Concert - Meteors and Music of the Movie 'Howl's Moving Castle'" currently being held at Konica Minolta Planetaria TOKYO (Yurakucho) has completely sold out all 79 scheduled performances, including encore shows up to Golden Week.

This production has received an immense response from various quarters, including enthusiastic repeat visitors, resulting in fully booked seats day after day. In response to many requests for additional performances, we have decided to hold extended performances starting Saturday, May 16, 2026, aiming for a milestone record of 100 total performances.

■ Live Performance of Music from "Howl's Moving Castle"
This performance is a planetarium concert where you can enjoy the music from the movie "Howl's Moving Castle" played live by professional classical musicians along with the starry sky of the planetarium.

The repertoire includes numerous masterpieces from the image symphonic suite and soundtrack of the movie "Howl's Moving Castle". The fantastic and magnificent melodies composed by Joe Hisaishi, along with delicate and soul-stirring harmonies, are faithfully reproduced in a live performance. Furthermore, a special performance of the theme song "The Promise of the World" will also be held.

The performance will be handled by the piano quartet "Amenoshita" (piano, cello, double bass, saxophone) formed from Hiroshi Watanabe STRINGS. Their delicate ensemble evokes the memorable scenes of the movie through sound.

■ Immersive Experience with 360-Degree Visuals and Starry Sky Effects
The 360-degree full-dome visuals unique to the planetarium, combined with the effect of shooting stars racing across the ceiling, create a deep sense of immersion from both visual and auditory perspectives. Please come and experience an extraordinary event that makes you feel as if you have stepped into a world of starry skies.

* This is a concert where you can enjoy the music of the movie "Howl's Moving Castle" within the starry sky projected by the digital planetarium. There will be no projection (usage) of scenes from the actual movie.
* This event is organized by Konica Minolta Planetarium. Please refrain from inquiring to Studio Ghibli regarding this performance.

During the event period, we will reach our 100th total performance. Starting with the performance on Saturday, May 16, when the extended run begins, the design of the digital attendance stamp stamped at the entrance will be changed to a "100th Commemorative Special Design Stamp". Please look forward to enjoying this as well.
