Creationline Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tadahiro Yasuda; hereinafter "Creationline") is pleased to announce the launch of "Adachi no Gokui," an interview series for startups, in collaboration with its advisor and ATTO & Co. Founder, Takashi Adachi.

Background of the Series Launch

The Japanese startup scene continues to face significant challenges such as "lack of service planning and hypothesis testing know-how," "absence of appropriate technical consultation for implementation," and "shortage of technical resources."

To address these challenges, our company promotes "COSTA (Engineering Fund)," which comprehensively supports startups from service planning and verification to engineering, and invests with its execution capabilities. By welcoming Mr. Adachi, who has supported numerous startups as an investment professional, as an advisor, we aim to present a more effective form of startup support by integrating "the perspective unique to an investment professional" with "the front lines of business creation and technical support."

What is the Interview Project "Adachi no Gokui"?

This project is a continuous interview series consisting of "Fixed-Point Observation Talks" where Takashi Adachi critically examines the current state of startups from his unique perspective, and "Three-Party Honest Discussions" involving guest executives.

It will cover essential topics not usually discussed openly, such as "SaaS is Dead," "How to Survive in the AI Era," and "The Truth of Exit Strategies," and will be distributed as video content.

Comments

Takashi Adachi (COSTA Advisor)

I feel that the concept of the engineering fund advocated by Creationline is a groundbreaking model for Japanese startups facing challenges in engineer shortages and development funding. In "Adachi no Gokui," I hope to explore the essential path to success together by delivering the perspective of a VC and the raw voices of startup executives who are actually running businesses. Leveraging my own experience in CVC, business development, and as an engineer, I will accompany as many startups as possible to realize their visions as quickly as possible.

Tadahiro Yasuda / Representative Director, Creationline Inc.

We launched COSTA with a strong desire to utilize our accumulated technical capabilities and experience for startups creating the future. In "Adachi no Gokui," we aim to create a platform that delivers truly useful information to startup executives by combining Mr. Adachi's perspective with our technical support.
