Karimoku Furniture Wins Semi-Grand Prix at ORGATEC TOKYO Awards

Karimoku Furniture Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashiura-cho, Chita-gun, Aichi Prefecture; President: Hiroshi Kato; hereinafter 'the Company') won the Semi-Grand Prix at the ORGATEC TOKYO Awards, which recognizes outstanding booths at the office furniture trade fair 'ORGATEC TOKYO 2026' held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from Tuesday, June 2 to Thursday, June 4, 2026. The ORGATEC TOKYO Awards is an award that honors highly designed booths embodying the theme of ORGATEC TOKYO 2026, 'SHIFT DESIGN'. Produced by ELLE DECOR, the judging was conducted from a unique perspective by professionals across various genres, including first-class architects Koichiro Oniki and Momoko Kudo, Nikkei Design Editor-in-Chief Tomohito Yamashita, and Koelnmesse representative Makoto Takagi. Under the theme 'More is (so much) More', the Company configured its booth as a model case that can be adapted to various workplaces such as homes and offices, based on its factory-adjacent office 'K-studio' in Aichi Prefecture.
