What is IDOL:UnderCode?

"IDOL:UnderCode" is a fan participation IP creation project themed around the "light" of idols and the "under code = darkness" that exists behind the scenes.

It will be developed as a next-generation media mix project where the運営 (management), cast, and fans co-create the story, linking anime, VTubers, and games within the same world and time.

Audition to Recruit 6 New Group Main Cast Members is Also Underway

Following the five members—Akane Kirishima, Airi Shinonome, Hiyori Hanamura, Matsuri Asahina, and Sayo Sakakibara—who begin streaming today, "IDOL:UnderCode" is also holding an audition to recruit six main character cast members for a new group.

The positions being recruited for are Kokoro Momose, Runa Amane, Misora Asakura, Tsumugi Oribe, Juri Nanase, and Mio Amemiya.

Successful candidates will debut as "XTubers®︎," active beyond the boundaries of virtual and real, participating in VTuber streaming activities as characters in new "IDOL:UnderCode" groups, as well as performing in real-life live events, releasing music, appearing in animations, and engaging in merchandise development.

This audition emphasizes not only a proven track record but also enthusiasm for the "IDOL:UnderCode" worldview and a desire to nurture characters and stories together with fans.

Furthermore, successful candidates will receive support for necessary equipment and environments for streaming activities, guaranteed compensation during the training period, practical training in streaming know-how, and opportunities for lessons at LLV ACTORS LABO, creating an environment that is accessible even for beginners. * During the training period (2 months), participants will attend a designated studio for 20 days (80 hours) to learn streaming know-how through practical exercises. During this period, a monthly compensation of 100,000 yen is guaranteed. From the 3rd month onwards, compensation will be commission-based.

The application period is until July 31, 2026. The members will be decided in early September 2026, with a debut scheduled for October 2026.
