MOTEX Releases Generative AI Risk Management Survey and Launches Security Assessment Service

MOTEX, Inc. announced the results of its "Survey on Generative AI Usage and Risk Management" conducted among approximately 1,000 corporate system development and information system personnel, and will launch its Generative AI Security Assessment Service on May 27, 2026. In recent years, generative AI has rapidly spread in corporate business settings, expanding beyond simple chat usage to external tool integration and embedding into in-house services. On the other hand, the use of generative AI involves risks different from traditional web applications and cloud services. In addition to countermeasures against hallucination and prompt injection, companies and organizations are required to visualize the usage status of generative AI within the company and establish a system to grasp and manage risks. The survey revealed that while the use of generative AI in companies is progressing, many companies feel that they are not sufficiently prepared for risk assessment and security measures. Based on this background, MOTEX will provide a generative AI security assessment service to support companies in creating an environment where they can safely use generative AI. The survey results showed that about 80% of respondents use generative AI in their work, and about half of them use it daily. Furthermore, about 50% of companies answered that they have "already incorporated" or "plan to incorporate" generative AI functions into their systems or products. Only about 20% of companies answered that they are "sufficiently prepared" for evaluation and testing regarding risks specific to generative AI, indicating that many companies feel that current evaluation methods are insufficient. The generative AI security assessment service thoroughly verifies the presence of risks such as LLM malfunctions or information leakage due to unauthorized prompt input for systems utilizing generative AI by security engineers.
