Expanding Family-Friendly Rooms: Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa Launches Projector-Equipped Rooms and 7-Person Japanese-Style Suites

Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa, located at Daibusamisaki within the Minamiboso Quasi-National Park, has renovated select guest rooms to expand its family-friendly offerings. The resort, overseen by General Manager Shunpei Mizuno, launched these new room types in spring 2026.

By combining extra beds and futons, the new rooms can accommodate up to seven people (including two children co-sleeping). Furthermore, rooms equipped with projectors offer a stay style where families can enjoy movies and videos together. These room types feature layouts where guests remove their shoes, ensuring peace of mind for families with crawling infants.

The resort also offers enhanced activities for infants, baby amenities, and kid-friendly dishes at the buffet, ensuring a comfortable stay for both parents and children.

### Family Superior Room
Accommodates up to four beds by adding two extra beds. It features an ultra-short-throw projector, allowing guests to watch YouTube, movies, and more on a large wall screen.
*Note: Guests must provide their own accounts for video streaming sites.

### Family Modern Japanese-Style Room
Features two low beds on tatami mats, with the option to lay out up to three futons. With a low table and soft cushions, it is highly recommended for multi-generational travel.

## About 'Welcome Baby' Certification
Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa is certified as a 'Welcome Baby' accommodation by the Mikihouse Childcare Research Institute. As of April 2026, the number of certified rooms increased from two to four.
