Evergreen Retailing Implements 'EBA-Guri Support Discount'

Evergreen Retailing Co., Ltd. (HQ: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshimichi Tanaka; "EGR"), an erex group company, announced the implementation of the "EBA-Guri Support Discount" to help alleviate the burden on its customers, considering potential future increases in electricity market prices due to factors such as the situation in Iran. This initiative is an independent effort by the company, not supported by government subsidies. Under this measure, a discount will be applied to electricity bills for the July 2026 billing cycle based on usage volume. The discount will be applied automatically to eligible customers without the need for an application. Eligibility is open to customers under low-voltage contracts (some plans excluded). The discount applies to the July 2026 billing cycle (for usage in June 2026). The discount amount is 1.2 yen (incl. tax) per kWh consumed. Conditions for application include: electricity supply having commenced by May 31, 2026; charges being generated for the July 2026 billing cycle; and no overdue payments as of May 31, 2026.
