Archelis Co., Ltd. (Representative Directors: Katsuhiko Saho, Hideyuki Fujisawa, Headquarters: Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will begin a demonstration experiment on May 8, 2026 (Friday) at the coworking space "FUTRWORKS" in the Osaka Umeda area, using its self-developed standing work fatigue reduction devices, the Stabi Series (Stabi Half, Stabi Full, Stabi Left).
This demonstration experiment is being conducted as part of a demonstration project jointly solicited and adopted by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Hankyu Hanshin Properties.
◾️Background and Purpose
From the perspective of health management and productivity improvement, the introduction of 'standing desks' in offices is expanding. While standing work has benefits such as reducing back pain and poor circulation caused by prolonged sitting, and improving concentration by preventing drowsiness, prolonged standing work also presents a new challenge: fatigue in the legs and lower back. Especially for urban office workers who are required to maintain an efficient work style in limited spaces, the demand for solving this problem is increasing.
In this demonstration experiment, we will verify the fatigue reduction effect of the Stabi Series in an actual office environment and the effectiveness of a new work style based on standing posture, with the aim of full-scale deployment into the office market.
◾️Overview of the Demonstration Experiment
Implementation Period: May 8, 2026 (Friday) to September 15, 2026 (Wednesday)
Location: FUTRWORKS (Hankyu Grand Building 26F, 8-47 Kakudacho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture)
Organizer: Archelis Co., Ltd.
Reference: Background of Demonstration Experiment Adoption
The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Hankyu Hanshin Properties jointly solicited applications for advanced technology demonstration experiments utilizing the 'NORIBA10 umeda' and 'FUTRWORKS' facilities in the Osaka Umeda area from February 2 to February 27, 2026, and adopted two projects. The experiments will be conducted until September 30, 2026 (Wednesday).
Our demonstration experiment is one of the adopted projects.

◾️Demonstration Content
Three types of Stabi Series (Stabi Half, Stabi Full, Stabi Left) will be installed at the standing desks within 'FUTRWORKS,' and facility users will be invited to experience them.
After the experience, a questionnaire survey will be conducted to collect the following data:
Evaluation of fatigue reduction effect
Suitability for office spaces
Usability and convenience for each product
The collected data will be utilized for product improvement and customization for office and public spaces.
◾️About Archelis
Archelis, with the mission of 'updating the world's standing work,' is a support device brand exclusively for standing work that frees people from the burden of standing posture through technology and design. Starting with the development of assist suits for surgeons in 2014 through medical-engineering collaboration, it has now expanded into industrial and service sectors. We will deliver the proven track record of solving 'the hardship of prolonged standing' in various workplaces such as manufacturing lines, logistics warehouses, retail stores, and dental clinics, to office and public spaces.
◾️About Stabi Series
Archelis developed devices to reduce standing work fatigue. They gently support standing posture and reduce the burden on the soles of the feet, legs, lower back, and neck. When using Stabi Half, a reduction of approximately 33% in load on the soles of the feet has been confirmed compared to normal standing posture (company's own measurement data).
◾️Functions and Effects of Stabi Half
Reduces staff physical burden by up to 33%
The 'Stabi Series' standing rest, which supports below the knees, disperses the weight load concentrated on the soles of the feet. This suppresses fatigue from prolonged standing work and contributes to maintaining performance.
Compact design
A design that naturally fits underfoot, allowing users to reap the benefits of standing posture while suppressing fatigue in the legs and lower back.
No power required, easy installation by simply placing it
No battery or wiring is needed; simply place it underfoot. It can be introduced immediately from tomorrow without renovation work.
◾️Office Product Lineup
Simple standing rest that supports the shins and knees to reduce the burden on legs and lower back.
