Alinco Co., Ltd. (Osaka Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Tokyo Head Office: Chuo Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nobuo Kobayashi) has announced the full-scale deployment of 'Mirutagu,' a hybrid RFID×NFC temporary equipment management system.
Amid growing demands for efficiency and enhanced safety management at construction sites, Alinco is advancing the deployment of 'Mirutagu,' a hybrid system that integrates RFID and NFC into a single tag. By attaching dedicated tags to each temporary equipment unit, 'Mirutagu' supports individual management, traceability, safety inspections, and streamlined inventory operations. A key feature is its ability to enable both bulk management by rental providers and individual verification and safety checks at construction sites using the same tag.
▮ Background: Rising Demand for Individual Equipment Management and Labor-Saving
In the construction industry, efficiency and productivity improvements are increasingly critical, driven by regulations on overtime work. General contractors are now requiring suppliers to manage equipment individually and track usage history. To address these challenges, Alinco developed 'Mirutagu.'
▮ Key Features of 'Mirutagu'
1. Efficient Inventory and In/Out Management via RFID
The RFID function allows multiple temporary equipment units to be read simultaneously from a distance and without contact using a dedicated reader. This significantly reduces the labor required for inventory and inbound/outbound management by rental companies.
2. Simplified On-Site Safety Inspections via NFC
The NFC function enables on-site workers to simply tap their smartphones on the tag to access the system. No dedicated app is required. Users can record pre-use inspections, confirm inspection results, and view safety videos and individual equipment information. Equipment marked as failed during inspection can be locked to prevent usage, helping avoid the use of non-compliant equipment.
3. Rugged Design for Harsh Construction Environments
The tag is designed to be durable and resistant to high-pressure water cleaning and physical impacts, making it suitable for the demanding conditions of construction sites.

▮ Official Adoption by Major Rental Company Asahi Kikai
'Mirutagu' has already been officially adopted by Asahi Kikai Co., Ltd., a leading temporary equipment rental company. Its use is expected to expand to large-scale construction sites across Kansai and nationwide. Alinco aims to contribute to improved operational efficiency and advanced safety management at construction sites by promoting individual equipment management, traceability, safety inspections, and labor-saving inventory processes through 'Mirutagu.'
