Kirishima Yokogawa Distillery, which produces artisanal Japanese whisky in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, will begin selling the long-awaited 700ml full bottle sizes of "Single Malt Whisky Kirishima 2 YEARS 700ML" and "Single Malt Whisky Yokogawa Newborn Sherry Cask Aged 700ML" from Monday, June 15, 2026.

The distillery's single malt whisky, previously well-received in 300ML mini sizes, is now being released in the eagerly anticipated 700ml full bottle size in response to customer requests.

■ Story and Background

Yokogawa Distillery, with a history of shochu production dating back to the 1950s, started Japanese whisky making as a new challenge. The products have received positive feedback, mainly from major mass retailers nationwide. Responding to the voices of many whisky fans who wanted a full bottle size, the distillery is now launching the 700ml full bottle size.
