Astrasana Japan Inc. has concluded an animal welfare partnership agreement with the General Incorporated Association Wonderful Partner. Both parties, while supporting animal behavior improvement, rescue dog and cat support, and breeding support, aim to improve the quality of life (QOL) for animals and realize a society where people and animals can coexist better. Simultaneously, they will work to promote understanding and awareness regarding the utilization of CBD (cannabidiol) in the field of animal welfare.

Astrasana Japan Inc. (Sumida-ku, Tokyo / Representative: Chikako Yoshida / hereinafter, "the Company") has recently entered into an "Animal Welfare Partnership" with the General Incorporated Association Wonderful Partner (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture / Representative: Shogo Isozaki / hereinafter, "Wonderful Partner"), which is dedicated to improving animal welfare through activities such as supporting dog and cat behavior improvement, supporting rescue dogs and cats, and supporting their upbringing.

Both parties, through activities including dog and cat behavior improvement, support for rescue dogs and cats, and breeding support, aim to enhance the quality of life (QOL) for animals and establish a sustainable support cycle model. Concurrently, they will endeavor to promote understanding and awareness of the use of CBD (cannabidiol) in the field of animal welfare.

Wonderful Partner is engaged in creating a society where dogs and owners can build better relationships, not only through practical on-site operations such as training classes, pet hotels, daycare, and grooming but also through support for rehoming rescue dogs, training consultations, and various event organizations. They also participate in activities such as fostering rescue dogs at Mito Prison, expanding their initiatives in both animal welfare and social inclusion. The Company deeply resonates with their philosophy and on-site activities, leading to the conclusion of this partnership.

Based on this partnership, the Company will advance sponsor collaboration through its pet-向けCBD brand "Cansuna" deployed in Japan. Cansuna is one of the pet CBD brands developed by Astrasana Animal Health AG (Switzerland), and as the Japanese subsidiary of the Astrasana Group, the Company is responsible for the brand's development in Japan.

Moving forward, both parties will promote initiatives contributing to animal welfare, closely supporting animal behavior improvement, daily care, and rescue activities. Furthermore, the Company deeply appreciates Wonderful Partner's profound understanding of CBD (cannabidiol) and their appropriate and practical approach to its utilization in the field. Both parties will work to enlighten on animal care through CBD utilization in animal welfare, while emphasizing honest information sharing based on real-world experience and appropriate dissemination, from the perspective of improving animal QOL.
