About Torori Tenshi no Warabimochi

### Osaka-born 'Melty' Texture 'Warabimochi' and 'Drinking Warabimochi'

Raw Warabimochi (Wasanbon Kinako)

'Torori Tenshi no Warabimochi,' a Japanese confectionery shop whose signature product is 'raw warabimochi' with a 'melty texture,' opened its first store in August 2020 in Nakazaki-cho, Osaka (now relocated to Tenjinbashi).

'Raw Warabimochi Wasanbon Kinako' is so soft that a toothpick cannot pierce it, and it is meant to be eaten with chopsticks.

This rare 'melty texture' warabimochi is perfect as a souvenir.

Drinking Warabimochi (from left: Kuromitsu/Matcha/Milk Tea)

'Drinking Warabimochi,' a drinkable sweet born from the idea of a part-time high school girl who thought, 'It's so melty, maybe you can drink it with a straw,' became a popular menu item selling up to 500 cups a day. It gained popularity for its 'insta-worthy' appearance with warabimochi at the bottom of the cup topped with fresh cream, and its new texture.

Flavors available are 'Milk Tea,' 'Kuromitsu,' and 'Matcha.'

Cream Warabimochi (Matcha/Plain/Hojicha/Black Sesame)

Additionally, 'Cream Warabimochi,' which consists of warabimochi in a cup topped with fresh cream and kinako sprinkled to taste, is available in four types: 'Plain,' 'Hojicha,' 'Black Sesame,' and 'Matcha.'
