【About Torori Tenshi no Warabimochi】

■ Osaka-born "melting" textured "Warabimochi" and "Drinking Warabimochi"

Nama Warabimochi (Wasanbon Kinako)

"Torori Tenshi no Warabimochi," a Japanese confectionery shop with "nama warabimochi" (raw warabimochi) known for its "melting texture" as its signature product, opened its first store in August 2020 in Nakazaki-cho, Osaka (now relocated to Tenjinbashi).
"Nama Warabimochi Wasanbon Kinako" is so soft that a toothpick won't stick, meant to be eaten with chopsticks.
This rare "melting textured" warabimochi is perfect as a souvenir.

Drinking Warabimochi (from left: Kuromitsu/Matcha/Milk Tea)

"Drinking Warabimochi," a drinkable sweet, was born from the idea of a part-time high school girl who thought, "It's so melty, can't you drink it with a straw?" This popular menu item, featuring warabimochi at the bottom of a cup topped with whipped cream, became a hot topic for its "instagrammable" appearance and new texture, selling up to 500 cups a day.

Flavors available are "Milk Tea," "Kuromitsu" (black sugar syrup), and "Matcha."

Cream Warabimochi (Matcha/Plain/Hojicha/Black Sesame)

Additionally, "Cream Warabimochi," which features warabimochi in a cup topped with whipped cream, with kinako (roasted soybean flour) to taste, is available in four varieties: "Plain," "Hojicha" (roasted green tea), "Black Sesame," and "Matcha."
