Sky Taxi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suminoe-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Takane Takamitsu; hereinafter "the Company") announces that it has received an investment from Noah Indoor Stage Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture; hereinafter "Noah"), a major player in the sports industry operating indoor tennis schools nationwide.
Simultaneously with its investment in the Company, Noah has also invested in PLANA, the U.S.-based, South Korea-originated eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, commonly known as "flying cars") manufacturer, which the Company exclusively represents for domestic deployment in Japan.
With this investment as a catalyst, the three companies—Sky Taxi, Noah, and PLANA—will collaborate to create a new "air economy" by integrating sports with next-generation mobility, aiming to revitalize sports tourism.

Noah Indoor Stage (Headquarters: Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture)
Sports Facility Operations
Event Planning
Operates sports facilities nationwide, primarily indoor tennis schools. Possesses extensive expertise in facility management, event and tournament planning, professional athlete development, member community building, and designing sports experiences.
Sky Taxi (Headquarters: Suminoe-ku, Osaka City)
Airline Operator
Leveraging PLANA's aircraft, the Company is building an air transportation business in Japan. Aims to establish new aerial mobility infrastructure connecting cities with sports facilities, tourist destinations, and regional hubs.
PLANA (U.S.-based, South Korea-originated)
Aircraft Manufacturer
A next-generation eVTOL manufacturer based in the U.S. and founded in South Korea, developing hybrid-powered aircraft capable of medium-to-long-range flights with a range of up to 550km. Aims to provide a new mode of transportation that combines quiet operation, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness—capabilities previously unattainable with conventional helicopters or existing transport systems.
• Background
Currently, the sports industry faces significant challenges related to transportation burdens—athletes, coaches, spectators, and facility operators alike spend considerable time and effort traveling to distant tournaments and training camps. Moreover, disparities exist between urban and rural areas in access to sports facilities and events, leading to unequal opportunities for sports participation.
Additionally, there remains substantial untapped potential for high-value sports experiences targeting affluent individuals and international VIPs, as well as for innovative services combining sports and tourism.
eVTOLs, designed for medium-to-long-distance travel (150km to 500km)—a range often referred to as the "missing middle"—are expected to serve as next-generation mobility solutions connecting cities with rural areas, airports with facilities, and tourist destinations with sports hubs.
Medium-to-long-distance travel has historically lacked efficiency across cars, trains, conventional aviation, and helicopters, making it highly compatible with sports, tourism, and leisure activities.
Noah has decided to invest in both the operator and aircraft manufacturer after recognizing the potential of the aircraft specifications and operational models being developed by Sky Taxi and PLANA for medium-to-long-distance travel.
The Company views this investment as a strong endorsement from the sports industry, reflecting significant confidence in the business viability and real-world implementation of next-generation mobility.
• Anticipated Initiatives
Through collaboration among the three companies, the following new business areas are expected to expand, creating a consumer-driven "air economy":
- High compatibility with sports travel, access to rural sports facilities, resort sports, and sports tourism
• Integration of sports facilities with eVTOL ports • Aerial mobility services for sports tournaments, team trips, and training camps • New travel experiences for athletes, teams, and spectators • Corporate sports welfare programs • Luxury sports experiences for affluent clients • Sports tourism packages for international VIPs • Regional revitalization models centered on rural sports facilities
• Market Impact
By introducing eVTOL-based aerial mobility into the sports industry through collaboration with Noah and PLANA, the Company aims not only to solve transportation challenges but also to transform travel itself into a unique experiential value.
Sports represent a vast market encompassing amateur and professional competitions, spectatorship, education, and tourism.
Integrating aerial mobility via eVTOL into this sector is expected to generate multifaceted economic benefits, including increased travel frequency, enhanced experiential value, and renewed evaluation of regional hubs.
Noah's dual investment in both Sky Taxi and PLANA marks a pivotal moment—indicating that the sports industry is beginning to view next-generation mobility not merely as futuristic technology, but as a tangible business opportunity.
• Executive Statements
Noah Indoor Stage Co., Ltd.
President and CEO, Masayuki Onishi
"Through our nationwide expansion of indoor tennis schools and support for athlete development, we have consistently delivered the value of sports. During this journey, we recognized that the burden and inefficiency of travel—especially for athletes attending tournaments—was a major challenge we needed to address, though we previously considered it unavoidable.
Now, with the fusion of Sky Taxi's exceptional operational services and PLANA's next-generation technology and know-how, including aircraft with outstanding range and quiet operation, we are confident in our ability to powerfully drive a new 'sports × mobility economic zone' that goes far beyond mere transportation efficiency.
This initiative holds the potential to transform 'mobility' itself into something of exceptional value. We are delighted to support the visionary and passionate leadership of both companies and believe this collaboration will soon bring a future where cities are seamlessly connected by air."
PLANA
CEO, Jay Kim
"PLANA's air mobility does not simply open new aerial routes—it will catalyze the creation of vast regional economies centered around our takeoff and landing hubs. With flight range comparable to helicopters but operating over 30 times more quietly, we anticipate broad integration into shopping, education, sports, and business activities."
Sky Taxi Co., Ltd.
CEO, Takane Takamitsu
"In sports, travel has traditionally been seen as just a 'means to an end.'
Athletes have long exhausted their physical energy and endured the burdens of travel. But from now on, travel itself will become a 'wonderful experience.'
Top athletes will be able to shorten travel time via aerial mobility, arrive at venues well-rested, and use the journey to prepare strategically. Moreover, top players arriving by air will become not only athletic icons but also powerful branding figures.
The fact that Noah Indoor Stage, a major player in the sports industry, has invested in both our airline operation and PLANA, the aircraft manufacturer, signifies a major step toward the full integration of sports and aerial mobility.
We are confident that combining the passion-driven world of sports with the new infrastructure of aerial mobility will create unprecedented value."
